🚜🔧 AgriFab Spotlight: Reviving Vintage Farm Machinery! 🔧🚜 This week at AgriFab, we had the pleasure of tackling a unique challenge: restoring a vintage disc cultivator that’s no longer supported by available parts. When our client found themselves missing crucial end castle nuts, we stepped in with a creative solution. Using 20mm thick flat plate steel, a drill, and a bandsaw, we crafted custom nuts with 50mm diameter holes to fit the holding shaft of the disc. We pre-drilled these holes with precision, starting at 28mm and expanding to 50mm, to ensure a perfect fit. While this isn’t an exact match for the original parts, our innovative fix got our client back in action and cultivating as normal. Our latest Agricultural Fabrication Project…. We've repurposed an old forklift mast into a three-point linkage that fits onto a tractor at one end and a fertiliser spreader at the other end. The reason behind this project is that the customers tractor couldn’t lift high enough to fertilise their Christmas trees, so we came up with a solution. Undoubtedly this will help our customer achieve their goal of producing high-quality Christmas trees. With this three-point linkage attached to their tractor, they can easily fertilize their trees and ensure they receive the nutrients they need to thrive.
